what is Pilates?


Pilates is a unique system of lengthening and strengthening exercises developed in the 1920's by Joseph H. Pilates and has recently gone mainstream in the fitness, dance and rehab worlds. Pilates helps to sculpt muscles, improve posture and flexibility, creates mind and body connection, decompresses joints and develops the body uniformly.

WHO IS IT GOOD FOR?


Almost anybody can do Pilates! With the use of specially designed Pilates apparatus and proper knowledge and understanding of the philosophy, Pilates will change every body with the use of modifications. Pilates teaches body awareness, how to creatively blend the power of the mind with the movement of body for an enjoyable workout that produces noticeable results.
